The National Center for Adoption Law and Policy and Columbus Childrens Hospital offers an 11-week educational series, the Adoption Academy, which is designed to take the mystery out of adoption for prospective adoptive parents. Participants can register for any or all of the three tracks. The Core Track (3 sessions) covers basic issues that all prospective adoptive parents need to address, including the Nuts and Bolts of the Homestudy Process. The Core Track costs $20 for the first person and $15 for each additional person.
