Wednesday, April 30, 7:00 - 9:00 pm Adoption Academy International Track begins. The National Center for Adoption Law and Policy and Columbus Childrens Hospital offers an 11-week educational series, the Adoption Academy, which is designed to take the mystery out of adoption for prospective adoptive parents. Participants can register for any or all of the three tracks. The Core Track (3 sessions) covers basic issues that all prospective adoptive parents need to address, including the Nuts and Bolts of the Homestudy Process. The Core Track costs $20 for the first person and $15 for each additional person. Saturday, May 17, 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. Third Annual Forever Home Adoption Celebration sponsored by The National Center for Adoption Law & Policy. Please join us to raise awareness about adoption as a family-building option and to celebrate adoptive families! More than 300 people enjoyed last year’s festivities. Proceeds from this event will be used to support NCALP programs that benefit adoptive families in Ohio, as well as across the country.
