Welcome to New Roots, an adoptive families support group based in Columbus, Ohio. New Roots is a non-profit organization that provides support, education and encouragement for families with adopted children, those in the process of adopting, and those considering adoption. Established in 1983, New Roots consists of about 150 member families in the Central Ohio area.

Each year, many of us look to adoption as a means of building our families. Whether adopting internationally or domestically, each adoption presents a special set of circumstances and unexpected situations. Sharing information with other adoptive families helps make the adoption process a positive experience. Anyone with an interest in adoption is welcome.
