The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Office of Family and Children Services provides this web site including a photolisting of Ohio's waiting children, an events calendar, general information, and the Ohio Adoption Guidebook (see below). A great starting point for prospective adoptive families in Ohio.

Interracial Families in Friendship
IFIF is a sharing group of families built by adoption or marriage and birth, and including both African American / biracial and Caucasian people. IFIF offers a listserv, resources and a monthly get-together for families in central Ohio.

A part of the federal Department of Health & Human Services, the Child Welfare Information Gateway provides factsheets, publications, databases and other information at no charge.
North American Council on Adoptable Children
