Celebrate International Women’s Day and be inspired to help women and girls everywhere turn oppression into opportunity. CARE presents a one-night movie event inspired by stories from the New York Times bestseller “Half the Sky” by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn. Musical performances and celebrity commentary are featured. At 7:30 pm at 5 Central Ohio multiplex theaters. Cost is $12.50.  www.halftheskylive.com
