The following are representative of discussion questions that may arise during the Deep Ecology course. How would you respond to them? How might you hear and incorporate other peoples' responses into your journey?
- Which shows greater respect for all living beings: not killing mosquitoes or leaving your car idle one day a week?
- What does this mean: 'Life doesn't adapt to its environment; it co-evolves with its environment.'
- Fox and Berry believe that we need a spiritual commitment for motivating to save the earth. This would mean that knowledge, discipline, laws, and regulations are insufficient. Do you agree?
